Origin: When New Genesis and Apokolips formed a peace treaty after years of war, Highfather and Darkseid exchanged sons to seal the deal. Orion, Darkseid's son, was given to Highfather, and Mister Miracle was given to Darkseid. Eventually Mister Miracle found his way home to New Genesis, leaving Darkseid with nothing. Even though Orion is one of the "good guys" it is obvious that he is Darkseid's son. His temper and tendency for violence are trademarks of his father. It remains to be seen if Orion will someday take his father's place as ruler of Apokolips.
