Ray Thompson

Origin: In an alternate dimension, the world was destroyed in a nuclear war. During the resulting fallout, Ray Thompson developed mutant powers that allowed him to change reality to his choosing. Since Ray was the Justice Guild of America's biggest fan, he used his powers to recreate the Guild and trap all the other surviors in the Golden Age of comics. When the Justice League reveals who Ray really is, he shows his disfigured form and it's up to the Justice Guild to defeat him ending their lives as well as Ray's illusion.

Comments: Ray Thompson is obviously a tribute to the "Gee Willickers!" sidekicks of the past. Whereas in today's comic it would seem ridiculous to have a 12 year-old on a mission, during the Golden Age it was strange not to have one.
